Loulan
Loulan was an ancient kingdom based around an important oasis along the ancient Silk Road. This lost kingdom is connected to the mummies of the Tarim basin. The most remarkable being the Beauty of Loulan, a stunningly well preserved 3,800 year old mummy found in 1980, believed to be of Indo-European origin.
